Jewellery Club

Marley and Daisy (Y5 students) have done an amazing job at securing £250 to run a jewellery club at Concord Junior Academy.

The grant was awarded by the Sheffield Children’s University through an application process called the “Acorn fund”.  This is where children are given the chance to shape their own extracurricular activities.  Think of it like planting a seed that grows into something amazing – just like an acorn becomes a great oak tree!  

In the near future, we are hoping to see the beautiful bracelets created by the club on sale. The aim is to use the profits to reinvest into the club, so that it can continue to flourish.
