National Literacy Trust Project

This week saw the culmination of the National Literacy Trust Project that

Concord Junior Academy have been very fortunate to be part of this year.

Year 5 and 6 were invited to spend a morning completing a carousel of

activities with the focus on reading. These included: creating an emoji for their

favourite book: producing a scene out of Lego; following a treasure trail of

clues for children’s books and other fun activities.

A key highlight was the presentation by Dommy B - a professional poet.

All children were presented with a goodie bag which included a book of their

own choice. A fantastic day was had by all!
