Student Council Visit to Sheffield Town Hall

Our School Council were very fortunate to receive an invite to meet the new Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Jayne Dunn.

They met with the Lory Mayor in her "Parlour", asked questions and then had the opportunity to sit in the council chambers.

The Student Council were very intrigued to find out what had been the Lord Mayor's greatest challenge so far and how heavy the chain of office really is! 

Their next goal is to visit the Houses of Parliament in London.....watch this space!
