Y4CL Science

Y4CL had lots of fun making cornflour slime today. 

The children had so much hands-on fun with this fascinating non-Newtonian fluid, discovering how it acts like a liquid and a solid.

It was messy, exciting and a great way to learn about the theme of British Science Week, "Change and Adapt". 

When the children touched it, it felt like a solid, but when they stopped applying pressure, it behaved as a liquid and flowed through our fingers.

A huge well done to all our budding scientists!
