Year 4 and 5 Visit to Meadowhall
Pupils in Year 4 and 5 visited Meadowhall to take part in numerous Young Readers activities with the focus on reading.
Children visited Waterstones to take part in a book, scavenger hunt, built Lego, created an emoji based on sustainability at the Apple Store, planted a chilli seed at Nandos and listened to the famous poet, Dommy B.
Our children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and thought it was great to take part in engaging and hands on activities.
In addition, as part of the National Literacy Trust's reading initiative, all children received free books of their own choosing.
