The School Day

School Day begins at 8:50am **Due to Covid-19, start and finish times will be staggered from September. For more information on the times for each class, please see the parent toolkit on the parent page.

Breakfast Club from 8.00am **Not available for the first few weeks

Supervision in the playground from 8.30am

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is free to attend, food is provided by Taylor Shaw who provide our excellent school lunches. Children can buy sausage sandwiches, toast, cheese on toast, bacon sandwiches, hot chocolate and juice. Any child who arrives at school before 8.30am is expected to attend breakfast club. 

Assemblies

Daily assemblies on a Monday to Thursday cover international and national significant events or anniversaries, focus on the school values and behaviour systems or curriculum objectives. Friday assemblies are a celebration of the learning and achievements of the children.

Clubs and Lunchtime Groups

At lunchtime there are sports and ICT clubs daily, children who have worked hard during the morning have access to these clubs. After schools sports and dance run throughout the year- some are provide freely by schools staff whilst other incur a cost. After school boosters run for Y4 and Y6 pupis to support them preparing for the national tests.

After School Care

After school care runs from 3.15pm to 5.00pm daily. Children are provided with a snack, activies and opportunities to relax or complete their homework.
